Hi, I'm Anirud Mohan

I'm a machine learning engineer who enjoys understanding how modern AI systems actually work under the hood.

Recently, I've been exploring large language models from a systems perspective, implementing inference pipelines, experimenting with GPU utilization strategies, and studying the parallelism techniques that make large-scale model training and serving possible.

I like building things from first principles, breaking complex systems into simple components, and learning by implementing ideas rather than just reading about them.

Apart from the technical side, I enjoy connecting with people through sports. I'm an active sportsperson. I've recently picked up squash and it has been pretty fun!
